Service Sales Manager, Elevator Industry – Kuwait

Role Summary:
The Service Sales Manager is responsible for service sales development and
leads, prospect, source and maintain quality customers. S/He will lead sales
directly for the value based service portfolio and post warranty conversions
as well as contract renewals.
Position Location: Kuwait
Business Industry: Elevators, Escalators and Moving Walkways
Reporting to: Branch Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets and or markets.
* Prepare strategic sales plan and exceed assigned sales goals.
* Introduce and promote new products and service upgrades.
* Follow up on the new leads and referrals.
* Manage, follow up and sell services including service plans, fixed pricing repairs, spare parts ect..
* Establish rapport and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers.
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
* Research and provide solutions to customer's concern/ problem.
* Study and analyse customer needs and current market performance.
* Maintain customer base, sales activities, opportunities, quotations, contracts, and leads regularly in the system.
* Prepare reports as assigned relative to activity, lost orders, closing, follow up and performance against budget.
* Report on special developments, information or feedback gathered throughout field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and evaluation of competitive development.
* Perform customer survey and analyse data for further improvement, initiatives and reference.
* Maintain a professional image at all times through personal actions and initiatives.
* Ensure adherence to the HSE policies and procedures, IMS and corporate standard and policies including compliance to legal and local regulation requirements.
* Follow all Company procedures and report promptly all accidents and near misses.
* Perform other tasks assigned by your line manager.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
* Minimum ‎5 years of experience in an elevator industry or EPC projects.
* Holder of Professional certificates : MMUP certificate, PMP certificate.

* Solid technical background in SAP and other service software relevant to the industry.
