Purchasing Officer Required for a F&B; Company in kuwait
A purchasing officer is responsible for managing and
coordinating the procurement of goods and services for an
organization. Some specific duties of a purchasing
officer may include:
1. Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based
on quality, price, and delivery performance.
2. Negotiating contracts and purchase agreements with
suppliers.
3. Maintaining and updating records of purchases and
contracts.
4. Managing the inventory of goods and materials.
5. Reviewing and approving invoices and payment
requests.
6. Developing and implementing purchasing policies and
procedures.
7. Collaborating with other departments to determine
their purchasing needs.
8. Analyzing market trends and conducting cost analyses
to identify opportunities for cost savings.
9. Ensuring that all purchases comply with relevant laws
and regulations.
10. Managing relationships with key suppliers and
vendors.
In addition to these specific duties, a purchasing
officer may also be responsible for managing a team of purchasing
professionals
and supporting the overall procurement strategy of the organization.
Qualification & Experience
1. Strong Interpersonal Skills.
2. F&B; Experience is must
3. Should be a graduate with proven experience in Kuwait
(2 to 5 years).
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Candidate is expected to multi-task and meet the
business demands.
