About the job

Shuwaikh Economic Office is a research institution based in Kuwait. The office
collects and produces economic research, resources, and data to share with the
local and regional community. Its resources and research focus primarily on
Kuwait and the wider Middle East region.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Assistant. The Shuwaikh
Economic Office is seeking a full-time Research Assistant to assist in
preparing the company’s publications and research work. The post will be based
at the SEO office in Shuwaikh Industrial Area. Some remote work is available.
The post-holder will report to the Managing Director.
Start Date: March 2024 (flexible)
Duration: 10 months, with the possibility of extension.
Person Specification
Essential
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, data science, business management,
or any other related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in
particular).
• Have a keen eye for detail and proofread texts for grammar, spelling and
punctuation accuracy.
Preferred
• Experience in socio-economic research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and
Arabic.
