Senior System Engineer
About the job
Senior Specialist Engineer expertise in DELL, DELLEMC and VMware with the
following minimum requirements:
Qualifications:
· Having Bachelor’s Degree from a well-known worldwide university in computer
engineering.
· More than ‎8 years hands on experience in Storages/SAN HW
· Worked on Cluster and High Availability Systems
· Certified as DELLEMC Implementation Engineer Storage Solutions Specialist
· Certified as DELLEMC RecoverPoint Data Replication and Recovery
Implementation Engineer
· Certified as DELLEMC Data Domain, Avamar and VPlex Implementation Engineer
· Minimum ‎8 years hands on experience in DELLEMC products, WMware and virtual
Environments
· Should be Certified on latest VMware and hold the following certifications:
o VMware Certified Professional - Datacenter Virtualization
o VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Datacenter Design
o VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Datacenter Administration
· In addition, must have attended the following latest VMware Trainings,
attendance certificate should be provided:
o VMware vSphere: Install, configure, Manage
o VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale
o VMware vSphere: Troubleshooting Workshop
o VMware vSphere: Design Workshop
o Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Design
· Minimum ‎8 years hands on experience in Linux, Windows Servers
· Shell scripting expertise
· Building severs to global standards
· Writing technical documents
· Extensive performance & tuning experience
· Understanding of network, multi-user access and locking issues
· Minimum ‎5 years’ experience after gaining the certifications.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for installing, operating, managing and maintaining the DELL
servers
In addition, DELLEMC storages and Systems that supports the whole businesses.
· Provide technical support across a multi-platform infrastructure (Red Hat
Linux, and Microsoft Windows).
· Providing day-to-day support for the production and development systems and
activities in a structured manner
· Providing project support
· Monitoring capacity, integrity and performance of production systems
· Implementing a suitable backup strategy to support the applications
· Maintaining monitoring systems to provide 24x7 cover
· Modifying and maintaining existing scripts to handle minor changes in
infrastructure
· Understanding the impacts/implications of undertaking 'unsafe' operations,
and minimizing their risk
· Administration of databases in SAN and NAS environment

· Effective communicator in English and Arabic (verbal and written)
· Financial markets experience
· Good team working ethic
· Flexibility
· Proactive attitude
