Universal Food Company (UFC) is a subsidiary of Intishar Holding.
In the State of Kuwait, UFC is the sole franchisee of ZAATAR W ZEIT a casual
Lebanese concept and FATBURGER a fast food burger concept.
UFC is as well the proud developer of the local chocolate concept - LIFE WITH
CACAO; franchised in KSA, Qatar & Oman.
The company also owns the restaurant concepts: FLOWER LATTE a local fusion
cuisine concept with a Paris vibe and JUNA’S, the plant based, vegan and
vegetarian eatery.
Since ‎2004, UFC has sought franchises that provide a unique experience for the
taste buds.
The story of UFC begins with the acquisition of the franchise of the authentic
Lebanese urban eatery concept, Zaatar w Zeit. The success of the first branch
in Kuwait led to the opening of a second brand in less than a year, and more
followed in the coming years.
The Company aimed at introducing a variety of tastes from around the world
while also developing dining concepts that would be known for their innovative
and quality cuisine… locally and internationally.
This is when the first dining experience came to life. Life with Cacao took
Kuwait by storm in ‎2010 and was very quickly a favorite destination for
friends and families all week long. Life with Cacao went from a flagship
restaurant at the largest mall in the Middle East to several ones located in
various high-end spots in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar, to continue
serving great dishes to clients of all segments.
With its expanding central kitchen capabilities, UFC launched Kotton, a bakery
serving all-time favorites, essentially Japanese cheesecake with flavors
inspired from the East to the West.
Short after, several new concepts were introduced. Select opened its first
high-dining restaurant in the most visited luxury mall in Kuwait in ‎2021,
serving dishes inspired from Mediterranean cuisines and using local
ingredients to preserve the authentic flavors of these dishes.
In the same year, UFC marked a new milestone showcasing its capabilities in
delivering world-class dining experiences with the acquisition of the
franchise rights of the London-based and most Instagrammable café, EL&N.; The
success of the first EL&N; restaurant at the largest mall in Kuwait led to
immediate works on opening a second location, this time in the leading luxury
mall in Kuwait. The success of operating EL&N; in Kuwait is another testament
to the capabilities of UFC, from menu development, quality assurance, kitchen
operations, hospitality services, and marketing.

وعمان وقطر، لمواصلة تقديم الأطباق الرائعة للعملاء من جميع الشرائح.
بفضل قدرات المطبخ المركزي المتوسعة، أطلقت UFC مخبز Kotton، وهو مخبز يقدم
المأكولات المفضلة على الإطلاق، وهي في الأساس كعكة الجبن اليابانية بنكهات
مستوحاة من الشرق إلى الغرب.

افتتحت شركة Select أول مطعم راقي لها في مركز التسوق الفاخر الأكثر زيارة في
الكويت في عام ‎2021، حيث تقدم أطباق مستوحاة من مطابخ البحر الأبيض المتوسط
​​وتستخدم المكونات المحلية للحفاظ على النكهات الأصيلة لهذه الأطباق.
وفي العام نفسه، حققت UFC إنجازًا جديدًا من خلال عرض قدراتها في تقديم تجارب
طعام عالمية المستوى من خلال الاستحواذ على حقوق الامتياز لمقهى EL&N; الذي يقع
مقره في لندن والأكثر شهرة على Instagram.
أدى نجاح مطعم EL&N; الأول في أكبر مركز تجاري في الكويت إلى العمل الفوري على
افتتاح موقع ثانٍ، وهذه المرة في المركز التجاري الفاخر الرائد في الكويت.
يعد نجاح تشغيل EL&N; في الكويت بمثابة شهادة أخرى على قدرات UFC، بدءًا من تطوير
