Experience:
Minimum ‎3 years’ experience in electronic systems, automation, PLC
programming, and control theory.

Machinist
Responsibilities:
Receives instruction from the Machine shop In-charge regarding work
assignments and job priorities and also receives manufacturing drawings,
sketches and samples of assignment works.
Perform duties assigned to Centralize Maintenance Department in any plant of
Kuwait Steel.
Turns over or confers with an incoming machinist to relay instructions and
pertinent information relative to the assigned job.
Interprets and analyzes manufacturing drawings and sketches to visualize the
shape and configuration of the parts to be processed.
Manipulates the parameters of built-in interactive software programs to
perform the machining of mechanical parts. Responsible for encoding values,
retrieving, safekeeping and activating such programs.
Asses the machining processes required for the job against the capacity and
capability of the assigned machine; taking into account the safety of the
machine. Refers to or alerts the Machine shop In-charge on borderline cases
wherein the load pose hazard or may cause potential damage to the machine.
Initiates interventions on controls during program run as needed to normalize
operation or protect the machine, tooling and workpiece from damage.
Perform in-process and final machining inspections such as taking precision
dimensional measurements, measuring alignments/eccentricity of parts, and
checking machined surfaces to detect material flaws such as cracks and
dimensional minimum limits.
Conduct detailing and lay outing works of complex/intricate components in the
course of the job or as requested.
Stand Fitter
Responsibilities:
Ensures compliance to documented ISO-‎9001 and ‎14001 &OHSAS; ‎18001
requirements.
Ensures compliance with safe working practice on the shop floor and executing
all industrial safety rules according to company rules so that no damage
occurs to man and machines.
Ensures compliance with all company regulations.
Follows instructions of Supervisor and carry out work as per his directives.
Transferring of used stand to the assembly area.
Disassembles stand on the roll changing device.
Inspection of overall stand condition especially backlash (chock and shoulder)
and record the remaining passes available to the roll.
Utility Technician - Rolling Mills
Experience
Minimum of ‎6 years' experience in hydraulic system repair and troubleshooting
of work rolls in any steel rolling mill.
Business Analyst - PPQM
Responsibilities:
Review, analyse and evaluate as-is business processes within the Demand to
Supply (DTS) workstream.
Design, customize, configure and testing of SAP PP/QM
Lead and assist in SAP design sessions or blueprint workshops.
Configure and maintain the relevant SAP ECC, S/4HANA
Create functional specifications for application development objects
(interfaces, conversions, enhancements and reports and forms) and guide the
development of those programs within the development team.
Create and manage SAP project tracks to implement or deploy capabilities as
required: blueprints, gap analysis, end-to end process design, testing
strategy, cutover plans, training, etc.
Caster Operator
Duties & Responsibilities
Performs Tundish Preheating including operation of Preheater, Refractory
Inspection, Nozzle cleaning and CNC cylinder checking.
Performs dummy bar preparation, centering and installation of quick sealing
device.
Conducts mold packing, setting all controls to ready cast position, mold
inspection and oil flow test.
Carries out tundish preparation for casting such as nozzle cleaning, tundish
centering, nozzle bottom plugging and nozzle filling.
Performs ladle receiving activities like slide gate cylinder fixing/removal,
ladle cover placing/removal, ladle shroud cleaning and re-attachment and ladle
teeming throughout the casting period.
Performs mold tendering including slag fishing, mold level checking, wetting
nozzle cleaning, nozzle changing, metal splashes cleaning and monitor abnormal
oscillation.
Carries out manual cutting of billets during cutting torch failures, emergency
billet evacuation during breakout and early disconnection.
Carries out ladle and tundish nozzle lancing when no free flow of molten
steel, reporting to ladle man for any ladle nozzle lancing activity.
Carries out temperature measuring and metal sample taking activity and sending
sample to QC lab.
Applies tundish covering powder, spout cleaning and deslagging at regular
interval.
Performs mold changing activities including radioactive source handling,
oscillating table retraction and cleaning of table track, mold transfer to
maintenance area and getting spare.
Checks air bellows for leak or abnormal sitting, mold oil leak, mold water
leak, during mold oscillations jerking, and checking of mold cover touching
and mold trolley locking interlocks and signals.
Carries out housekeeping related activities to keep his work area clean and
orderly.
