Responsibilities:
1. Teaching:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English language lessons to students
of varying proficiency levels.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and materials to engage students
in the learning process.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages
active participation and student collaboration.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular quizzes, assignments,
and examinations.
2. Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the English language
curriculum.
- Stay updated on current educational trends and incorporate innovative
teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
3. Classroom Management:
- Maintain a well-organized and disciplined classroom environment conducive
to learning.
- Establish and enforce classroom rules and expectations consistently.
4. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding
student progress, concerns, and achievements.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other school-related events.
5. Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest
teaching methodologies and educational best practices.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions as required by the
school.
6. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to enhance the overall
educational experience for students.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum planning
discussions.
7. Cultural Sensitivity:
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect for the local customs and
traditions in Kuwait.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in English or Education.
• Teaching certification or qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an International
school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
