Manufacturing Cost Controller
Functional conditions
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Must be experienced in working on ERP integrated system, SAP S4 HANA.
Must have detailed knowledge of sound financial practice, procedures and
systems.
Must be able to develop standard unit costs and Bills of Materials (BOMs),
ensuring inventory accuracy, and strategizing with department heads to
minimize waste.
Must be able to conduct cost analyses, implement cost-cutting measures, and
roll out cost-saving programs.
Must be able to create detailed analyses and reports for the P&L; and develop
production analysis reports to aid decision-makers.
Must be able to maximize efficiency at all levels without compromising
quality.

THE BEGINNINGS
1940s
The Mezzan Group legacy began in the 1940s, when the company’s late founder,
Jassim Mohammad Ali Al Wazzan, opened the first Al Wazzan retail store in
“Altararih” Souk, Kuwait. The store specialized in basic household necessities
such as canned and preserved food products among other commodities.
This humble start enabled Al Wazzan to cultivate key relationships with
foreign manufacturers. He introduced internationally recognized brands such as
Claire Ghee, Pillsbury Flour, Baird’s Vinegar, and Crystal Hot Sauces into the
Kuwaiti marketplace.
LOOKING TOWARDS THE FUTURE
2020s
Embarking into the next decade, Mezzan continues to expand into new markets
and product lines. Following the acquisition of a majority stake in KSPICO,
the group restructured its main, operational business lines from ‘Food’ and
‘Non-food’ into ‘Food’ and ‘Healthcare & Consumer’.
The acquisition of Kuwait Pharmaceutical Industrials Co (KSPICO) marked a
significant addition to the group’s core consumer-driven healthcare business.
Operating a new 8,657 m2 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, Mezzan now
handles the research and development, manufacturing, and distribution of
various pharmaceutical products, including tablets, syrups, and ointments such
as Clovirax and Diclofast.
Mezzan’s diverse portfolio of manufactured and distributed products are easily
accessible at various retailers throughout the region, including the UAE, KSA,
Qatar, Iraq, Jordan, and Afghanistan. Looking forward, the group will continue
to focus on growing its scale, footprint, and market share for decades to
come.

البدايات
الأربعينيات
بدأ تراث مجموعة ميزان في الأربعينيات من القرن الماضي، عندما افتتح مؤسس الشركة
الراحل جاسم محمد علي الوزان أول متجر الوزان للبيع بالتجزئة في سوق "الطرراح"
بالكويت. المتجر متخصص في مستلزمات المنزل الأساسية مثل المنتجات الغذائية
المعلبة والمحفوظة وغيرها من السلع.
هذه البداية المتواضعة مكنت الوزان من إقامة علاقات أساسية مع المصنعين الأجانب.
وقام بإدخال علامات تجارية معروفة عالميًا مثل Claire Ghee وPillsbury Flour
وBaird's Vinegar وCrystal Hot Sauces إلى السوق الكويتي.
التطلع نحو المستقبل
2020s
مع الشروع في العقد القادم، تواصل مجموعة ميزان التوسع في أسواق وخطوط إنتاج
جديدة. وبعد الاستحواذ على حصة أغلبية في KSPICO، قامت المجموعة بإعادة هيكلة
خطوط أعمالها التشغيلية الرئيسية من "الأغذية" و"غير الغذائية" إلى "الأغذية"
و"الرعاية الصحية والمستهلك".
وقد شكل الاستحواذ على الشركة الكويتية للصناعات الدوائية (KSPICO) إضافة مهمة
إلى أعمال الرعاية الصحية الأساسية الموجهة نحو المستهلك للمجموعة. تدير شركة
ميزان الآن منشأة جديدة لتصنيع الأدوية تبلغ مساحتها 8,657 مترًا مربعًا، وتتولى
الآن أعمال البحث والتطوير والتصنيع والتوزيع لمختلف المنتجات الصيدلانية، بما في
ذلك الأقراص والشراب والمراهم مثل كلوفيريكس وديكلوفاست.
