Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing and executing trade
marketing strategies and initiatives to drive sales and increase brand
visibility in the highly competitive soft drinks and beverage industry. This
position requires a strong understanding of the industry dynamics, consumer
behavior, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional
teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Trade Marketing Strategy:
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop a comprehensive
trade marketing strategy aligned with overall business goals.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and
customer insights to inform trade marketing initiatives.
Trade Promotions and Activation:
Design and implement trade promotions, incentives, and activations to drive
product sales and brand visibility.
Work closely with sales teams to develop promotional plans and ensure
effective execution at the point of sale.
Channel Management:
Develop channel-specific marketing plans to support sales growth in various
distribution channels, including supermarkets, convenience stores,
restaurants, and cafes.
Collaborate with key accounts and channel partners to develop joint marketing
programs and initiatives.
Brand and POS Materials:
Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop impactful and
visually appealing point-of-sale (POS) materials, ensuring alignment with
brand guidelines.
Manage the production and distribution of trade marketing materials, including
merchandising displays, signage, and product samples.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product
development, and supply chain, to align trade marketing initiatives with
overall business objectives.
Provide support and training to the sales team, ensuring they have the
necessary tools and knowledge to effectively execute trade marketing programs.
