About the job
We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities
and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our
flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-
Service (SaaS) solution to other financial brokers.
Job Summary:
As an Independent Financial Internal Auditor reporting directly to the
Chairman, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the financial integrity
and transparency of our organization. You will be responsible for conducting
thorough examinations of financial records, identifying irregularities,
potential fraud, and financial misconduct within the company. Your objective
will be to uncover any financial impropriety, provide evidence, and recommend
corrective actions. In addition, you will be proficiently analyzing complex
personal and business financial records to identify payments, kickbacks, trace
money flows, identify assets, determine sources and uses of cash, and quantify
damages in cases of financial irregularity.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Examination: Conduct detailed and confidential examinations
of financial transactions, records, and accounts to identify irregularities,
fraud, and financial mismanagement.
Documentation Review: Examine financial documents, invoices, contracts, and
other relevant records to verify their accuracy and authenticity.
Data Analysis: Utilize financial analysis techniques and software tools to
scrutinize financial data for inconsistencies and anomalies.
Interviews: Interview employees and stakeholders as necessary to gather
information and statements related to financial irregularities.
Evidence Gathering: Collect, document, and preserve evidence in a manner
consistent with legal and professional standards.
Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing findings,
including the extent and impact of financial misconduct, and provide
recommendations for corrective actions.
Legal Compliance: Ensure that all activities adhere to legal and regulatory
requirements, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics.
Risk Mitigation: Identify weaknesses in financial controls and processes and
make recommendations to prevent future incidents of financial misconduct.
Training and Awareness: Provide guidance and training to employees on best
practices in financial integrity and fraud prevention.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) or relevant certifications preferred.
Proven experience in financial auditing, financial examination, or similar
roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and internal
controls.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to
present complex findings in a clear and understandable manner.
Ethical and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and financial analysis techniques.
