About the job
Responsibilities
Vice President for Student Affairs provides executive leadership for overall
planning, implementation and evaluation of enrollment management functions and
all student services at IUK. This position is responsible for the development
of strategies and initiatives that facilitate the capacity of the university
to meet its admission goals and to provide comprehensive services to students.
The VPSA has oversight of the Office of the Registrar, Admissions, Academic
Advising, Student Life, and Career Services.
Provide overall leadership for all enrollment management and student affairs
functions of the University.

Develop, plan, implement and evaluate programs and services as well as
establishing policies and procedures necessary to support student affairs
functions.
Define high-level strategy and guide daily operations through data-driven
decision making.
Work closely with the Offices of the President and the VPAA, and with the
institutional partner universities to supervise the successful transfer and
implementation all programs.
Work with the Office of the VPAA to ensure that all co-curricular programs
work to enhance student learning and growth inside and outside the classroom.
Work with the Office of the VPAA to coordinate enrollment management (student
outreach, retention, and persistence efforts) in accordance with the
University’s strategic plan.
Work closely with the Office of the VPAA on student related issues, such as
enrollment management, academic advising, course scheduling, and co-curricular
programming.
Supervise and direct student related marketing and research initiatives in
collaboration with Dean of Admission & Records, and the Marketing &
Communications Manager.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Student Information System.
Select, train, lead and evaluate staff; establish and monitor employee
performance objectives; prepare and present employee performance reviews;
provide or coordinate staff development.
Assist in the planning of institutional budget by providing accurate student
enrollment projections and data.
Assist with identification and prioritization of needs and purchases for
assigned program areas, and monitor expenditures.
Prepare and present reports and other necessary correspondence as it relates
to student Affairs.
Serve on a variety of committees and task forces.
Represent the University at community and other functions as required.
Other duties as assigned.
