As our company expands, we seek an Estimation Engineer to enhance the
Tendering Department's capabilities. This experienced professional will ensure
accurate bidding, efficient resource allocation, and high-quality proposals,
meeting client and stakeholder requirements.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:
The Estimation Engineer ensures construction projects are financially viable,
accurately estimated, and budgetary-constrained, optimizing cost-efficiency
and value, aiding informed decision-making.
Specific Responsibilities and Tasks:
‎1. Document Review:
· Assess tender documents for alignment with our business line.
· Analyze project specifications and drawings.
· Summarize the scope of work.
‎2. Cost Estimation:
· Develop cost models encompassing all relevant costs.
· Recommend markups for Bid Summary.
· Create resource histograms.
‎3. Data Analysis:
· Collect and interpret construction cost data to refine estimates.
‎4. Quantity Takeoffs:
· Determine necessary project resources based on plans and specs.
‎5. Bid Preparation:
· Compile bid documents and cost estimates for accurate bids.
‎6. Value Engineering:
· Seek cost savings without compromising project quality.
‎7. Vendor Management:
· Collaborate for cost data and quotations, and evaluate alignment with
project estimates.
‎8. Risk Assessment:
· Identify project risks and include them in cost estimates.
‎9. Cost Communication:
· Share estimates with the tendering team and manager.
‎10. In-house Coordination:
· Work with various departments to fulfill tender requirements.
‎11. Validation:
· Review financial and technical preparations for accuracy.
‎12. Record Maintenance:
· Keep detailed records of cost estimates and assumptions.
‎13. Industry Awareness:
· Stay updated on cost estimation techniques and industry trends.
‎14. Regulatory Compliance:
· Ensure estimates comply with industry regulations.
‎15. Budget Assistance:
· Aid in project budget and cost control plan development.

Requirements
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Five years of estimation experience in Special Construction Projects like US
Army projects, industrial projects, or special private ownership projects
Proficiency in MS-Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
Thorough construction knowledge.
Should have:
Analytical skills for data analysis.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Three years of experience in Value Engineering.
Negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
Problem-solving skills in cost estimation and project budgeting.
Good time management and adaptability.

Nice to have:
Experience in Oil and Gas project estimation.
Master’s in construction or project management.
Certifications: CCP, CPE, PMP, or LEED Accreditation.
Skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Primavera P6 or STAAD.
Salary and Benefits:
KWD ‎800 per month - annual salary KWD ‎9,600
