Senior Front-End React Native Developer - Based in Riyadh
About the job
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Mobile React Native Developer. You will
be a key contributor to our mobile app development team, focusing on creating
user-friendly and secure mobile applications for the banking industry. You
will work closely with our product and design teams to deliver high-quality
mobile experiences.
Location
Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (on-site).
Type of contract
Temporary contract - One year project
Key Responsibilities
1. React Native Development:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications using
React Native.
Ensure that mobile apps are performant, reliable, and responsive.
2. User Interface (UI) Development:
Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI designs and user
interactions.
Ensure that the mobile app adheres to the bank's branding and design
guidelines.
3. Component Development:
Create reusable and efficient React Native components and libraries that can
be utilized across various parts of the application.
4. Banking Integration:
Integrate mobile apps with banking systems, ensuring the secure handling of
financial data.
Implement features related to transactions, account management, and security.
5. Security and Compliance:
Implement and adhere to the highest security standards and compliance
regulations in the banking sector.
Collaborate with security teams to conduct code reviews and vulnerability
assessments.
6. Cross-Platform Development:
Develop mobile applications that work seamlessly on both iOS and Android
platforms.
Address platform-specific requirements and nuances effectively.
7. Code Quality and Testing:
Write clean, well-documented code and conduct unit testing to ensure code
quality and reliability.
Implement automated testing where applicable.
8. Performance Optimization:
Identify and address performance bottlenecks in mobile applications to ensure
fast load times and smooth interactions.
9. Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, backend developers, and quality assurance
teams to deliver comprehensive mobile solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mobile Developer with a strong focus on React Native.
Extensive experience in building mobile apps for banks or the financial sector
is preferred.
Proficiency in JavaScript and React Native framework.
Strong knowledge of frontend web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
Cross-platform development experience for iOS and Android.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
