About the job
The opportunity
Exciting news - Mixmax crossed $10 million in annual revenue, and we just
raised more money. We seek a VP of Product to help take us to the next level.
We are 80+ people working as a fully distributed team (no office) across the
US, LatAm, and Europe. We’re profitable and fund growth with our own revenue,
which we believe is the best way to create a generational company.
You’ll report to the CEO and run our product management and design teams.
You’ll own outcomes as an executive on the leadership team and be accountable
for product direction and strategy, design execution, and growing our
distributed product & design teams (currently 5 people). While this is an
executive role, at our size, you're also expected to be a “player-coach”,
e.g., be able to dive into details as necessary.
You have ridiculously high expectations of your teams and love firing them up,
no matter what needs to be done. You’re also an active listener and supportive
and empathetic. You love recruiting and building ever-stronger, diverse teams.
Last, we hope to excite you about our mission: eliminating busy work for
people in customer-facing roles! This is an underserved market; we have the
easiest-to-use product in the space. We hope you’re as thrilled about building

What does success look like?
Leading the team
You enjoy leading and building teams. You’ll work closely with Engineering and
the rest of the leadership team to craft Mixmax’s strategic direction. This is
a unique opportunity to be a team builder. You have experience hiring and
managing Product Managers and Designers. That being said, you’re also a doer;
you enjoy tactical implementation as much as strategic thinking.
