Quality Control Officer
About the job
We’re looking for a Quality Control Officer for our Central Kitchen.
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible upholding and improving the
quality and safety of all food products and processes. This involves
overseeing food production, hygiene practices, compliance with food safety
regulations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food items to various
locations.
Basic Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, ingredients, and finished
food products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Check for freshness, taste, color, texture, and overall quality of
ingredients and finished products.
• Ensure food safety norms and standards are applied at all stages of
implementation (receiving, preparation, distribution, and storage) as
indicated in the training manual and relevant SOPs.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain consistency and
high standards in food production.
• Identify potential hazards and analyze risks to create a Preventive Action
Plan and ensure strict adherence to avoid and reduce any safety or quality
related incidents within the Production Area.
• Monitor food preparation, cooking, and packaging processes to ensure
compliance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of the central kitchen facility, equipment, and
storage areas for cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and sanitation
standards in food production.
• Train and educate kitchen staff on quality control protocols, food safety,
and hygiene practices.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years' relevant experience in QC (F&B; or Production).
• Immediate joining.
• Bachelor's degree in food science, hospitality management, or a related
field.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO & General Food Safety.
• Excellent communication skills to provide feedback and training to kitchen
staff.
• Attention to detail in identifying quality issues and implementing
corrective actions.
• Visa 18 transferrable.
