Project Designer
About the job
Scope of Role
Working as part of the Projects and Facilities Team, the Project Designer will
handle the design process from initiation till handover to construction team
while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and standards with a key focus on
operational efficiencies.

What will I be doing?
· Attending new shops site survey with project team highlighting critical
points to consider during design
· Produce concept design layouts, 3D renderings and detailed design drawings
· Develop construction / production shop drawings
· Review and negotiate detailed drawings received from external suppliers
· coordinate with all project stakeholders to determine initial goals and
requirements for the space to be designed.
· Collaborate with construction team to further understand how interior space
should function, appear, and be furnished.
· Analyze movement and use patterns of the space.
· Ensure materials availability in the market with acceptable lead time before
selection
· Assist project department in sourcing materials and procurement
· Assist project department in producing BOQ and tender document
· Conduct regular site visits during construction and report observations and
any conflict with the design to project team
· Determines timelines and project costs and presents accurate estimates.
· Order or obtain necessary materials, adhering to project and budget
specifications.
· Oversee the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements.
· Maintain current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other
developments in interior design.

Skills and experience
· Bachelor degree in interior design
· Five years experience or higher, experience in hospitality is highly
preferred
· Architectural and landscape design Knowledge are added value
· Highly skilled in AutoCAD
· Highly skilled in 3DS Max, Sketchup, Revit or any other alternative 3D
software with capability of rendering realistic shots
· Knowledge of building codes and British standards
· Presentation skills
· MS Office Apps
· Adobe apps
