NBK Capital is currently recruiting for the role of Auditor/Senior Auditor
within the Internal Audit team. The role is based in Kuwait.
Job Summary:
Assist the Audit Manager in managing the internal audit function for the
group, to ensure there are effective and appropriate controls within the
company to mitigate against risks posing a threat to the company's objectives.
Requirements:
Assist the manager in proposing the internal audit plan to the Head of IA and
the Board Audit Committee (BAC) based on the risk assessment, regulatory
requirements as well as the needs in the business and operations with the
objective to mitigate risk and errors.
Execute the internal audit plan by implementing a risk based audit
methodology. Help in preparing the audit reports and present them to the
Senior Management and the BAC.
Provide advices to senior management from an internal control point of view
for new projects and new businesses to ensure the group grows in a controlled
and efficient manner.
Prepare and execute the audit testing according to the Audit Program.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Business/Commerce. MBA/ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA, Certified
Internal Audit (CIA) qualification is a plus.
2 – 5 years audit experience gained in a leading investment banks and
professional big 4 audit firms.
Good experience in the full spectrum of internal audit work and risk
mitigation projects.
Exposure to the GCC and MENA business and operation environment is an
advantage.
Proficient with MS office, knowledge in audit software is a plus.
Self-motivated, well-organized with high standards of integrity and
professionalism.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with senior management and
across different lines of business.
Presentation skills, project management skills and results oriented.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
