Supporting Hays strategic customers to establish improved Services Procurement
strategies to drive customer success and elevate Hays to be a true leadership
partner is fundamental to our Enterprise Solutions success.
To drive this opportunity across Hays, we are looking to appoint a senior
leader with the vision and passion required to lead, shape, and develop our
Services Procurement solutions across the globe.
Your new role
As the Global Head of Services Procurement, you will report into our CEO for
Enterprise Solutions and form part of our global leadership team.
You will drive and define our Services Procurement strategy supporting the
development of scope, design of sourcing strategy, guidance around supplier
selection and contract execution. You will be responsible for understanding
and translating our client’s needs into category specific service proposals
and operationalizing the proposals, working closely with our solutions, sales,
client development and service delivery teams. You will lead as our SME for
new and existing customer development and engage with client procurement teams
to establish new opportunities for Services Procurement. You will also
participate in sign off of new bids and sales presentations. You will be
working in collaboration with our colleagues around the world to educate and
upskill in the promotion of Services Procurement.
What do you need to succeed?
Whilst ability, motivation and attitude are most important, it is essential to
have a deep understanding of Services Procurement and a track record in
understanding how to derive savings from procurement spend and a record of
selling these solutions. It will also be highly beneficial if you possess a
professional procurement certificate such as CIPS. To succeed in this role,
you will also have the experience in contract management and e-sourcing with
the use of tools such as Coupa or Ariba. You will have broad international
experience and strong influencing skills with the ability to work
collaboratively and within a matrix.
