Supply Chain Projects& Sales Manager
About the job
Position Overview:
This role will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing
activities of our freight forwarding division. Additionally, the successful
candidate will lead ad hoc projects, such as 3PL partnerships in GCC
countries, prepare presentations for top management, and develop innovative
ideas to leverage technology tools for increased productivity and cost
reduction. The Supply Chain Projects and Sales Manager will also play a key
role in building the strategy for our Freight Forwarding business unit to
achieve sales and gross profit targets. This position will involve managing a
sales team of five individuals and collaborating with the HR team for hiring
and building team structures.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Marketing Leadership:
- Lead and manage the sales and marketing activities of the freight
forwarding division.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and
increase market share.
- Oversee the sales team, provide guidance, training, and support to maximize
their performance.
- Foster strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities,
and drive customer acquisition.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience of atleast 4-5 years as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
in a reputable restaurant or hospitality setting.
2. Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary
institution.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate
and mentor kitchen staff.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative
approach to working with the culinary team.
5. Familiarity with food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen
efficiency optimization.
6. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, focusing on maintaining
high kitchen standards.
