About the job
Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management,
Business Administration and Psychology
Professional qualification from an international recognized Chartered
Institute (SHRM, CIPD)
15+ experience in the field of HR
5+ years at a senior management level within the Human Resource field.
Experience in a funding institution of a similar size and nature is desirable
Key Accountabilities:
Lead the formulation and implementation of the Human Resources strategy in
line with the KFAS’s short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.
Responsible for HR’s annual workplans and budgets.
Execute program activities according to the approved workplans, budgets and
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Ensure the adherence and implementation of approved policy and procedures.
Manage the effective achievement of the Human Resources Department’s
objectives.
Lead the establishment of training and development plans to ensure the
continuous learning and development of the employees.
Lead the organizations’ manpower needs in a timely and a cost-effective
manner.
Support Directors and Managers to determine the optimum size and scope of each
function.
Oversee Directorate’s annual manpower needs in alignment of workload.
Develop career path / succession plan strategy.
Lead the development and implementation of recruitment plan to ensure the
attraction and retention of the right talent in alignment of KFAS’s medium,
and long-term objectives.
Oversee the development and implementation of the talent acquisition strategy.
Oversee the development and implementation of an effective Performance
Management System.
Support KFAS’ management in fostering a culture which promotes and rewards
high performing individuals.
Assess the Performance Management System at regular intervals to ensure its
viability and alignment to organizations’ objective.
Oversee the development and implementation of the HR policies and procedures
in alignment to the Kuwait Labor Law.
Ensure the application of effective day- to- day operational activities.
Resolve conflict in alignment of KFAS policy.
Ensure the awareness of the HR Policy, Procedures and Code of Conducts.
Review and direct amendments to the Human Resources Department functional
policies and procedures to ensure consistency of practice and compliance with
the government / sector regulations.
