A coding teacher is someone who helps students learn how to code. Coding
teacher’s duties are to assist students in the creation and development of
software and help them learn how to maintain and fix code in various formats.
Depending on the student’s needs and your capabilities, you can help with
anything from Java to C++.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in strategizing for new teaching material and classes to engage
students.
2. Conceptualize, Research, Develop and Review Teaching material for classes.
3. Responsible for development of quality classroom material. e.g.
PowerPoints, Coding Samples, Short Video Clips and others.
Qualifications:
1 Skilled with programming in Python including variables (2D Imaging & 3D
imaging), data types, conditionals, loops, arrays, and functions.
2.Ability to instruct & demonstrate to students how to learn stage script,
Blox coding, mix coding, text coding, HTML, CSS, JS, MS Make Code, and Digital
Music programs to design websites or create a game.
3.Experienced facilitator with the ability to motivate, direct, and instruct
students age between 7 – 14
4.Teach Coding, Programming Concepts, and Algorithms in a fun and engaging
way.
5. Classroom Management and Administration duties.
