Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Engineer to join our team. As a
Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the
procurement activities within our organization. Your role will involve
coordinating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and
cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Additionally, you will
be responsible for maintaining accurate records, tracking inventory levels,
and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
Your expertise in procurement processes and your ability to optimize cost and
quality will be crucial in ensuring successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans in alignment with
project requirements and organizational goals.
Identify and assess potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and
negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and pricing.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs and
specifications, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
Monitor supplier performance, track deliveries, and resolve any issues or
discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.
Conduct market research and stay updated with industry trends and best
practices to optimize procurement processes.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts,
purchase orders, and supplier information.
Analyze and report on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier
performance, and inventory levels.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement, and
implement appropriate measures to enhance efficiency.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards
in all procurement activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project
management, and finance, to ensure alignment and support project objectives.
المهارات
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum ‎5 years’ experience in procurement at EPC, O&G;, construction company.
Should know advance excel and experience working on SAP.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract
negotiation.
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and experience working with SAP or
other procurement software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make
informed decisions.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with
suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in procurement
activities.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet
deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
Strong ethical conduct and adherence to professional standards in procurement
practices.
