Extrusion Blow Molding Operator
About the job
The responsibilities of a blow mold machine operator include setting up and
operating blow molding equipment used to create hollow plastic products -
Specially - Parker & Jagmohan Machines
Responsibilities
· Operate/monitor multiple types of Extrusion Blow molding machine (Kautex
Germany, Automa Italy, Parker Taiwan, Jag Mohan India) for ‎2,3,5litres Jerry
Cans,HDPE Extrusion bottles for diary industries
(180ml,200ml,330ml,500ml,1000ml,1500ml for 38mm ‎3 start neck).
· Good Process tuning experience in Extrusion Blow molding machine.
· Ensure High/Good quality production with minimum downtime and rejections.
· Proper communication with team members and team support to ensure continuous
production of the high-quality desired product as per the Work order.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized
work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement
environment.
· To adhere with the instruction provided from Department Head / Plant
Manager.
· To be able to work in flexible environments as per the company requirement.
· Check the machine process parameters every hour once & update the check
list.
· Follow machine start up and shut down procedure as per company guidelines.
· Prepare the shift handover report in excel format or Computerized web-based
software.
· Prepare the labels for all preform and cap machines through Computerized
web-based software
· Assure the cleanliness of plant and machines as per ISO Guidelines.
· Follow the Master Batch calibration procedure as per department instruction
guidelines.
· Assure proper distribution of work among labors and monitor/asses their
activities.
· Give the proper handover/communication to next shift Incharge.
· Confirm the Raw Material and Packing Material availability in each shift and
proper hand over to the next shift.
· Check the work order and make all arrangements as per the production plan.
· Observe and follow the company safety rules and regulations.
· In case of need, assist the maintenance technician at the machine breakdown
· Train the New labors, New Joinee or Junior as per supervisor guidance &
instruction.
· Attend the production process issues.
· Co-ordinate with Quality & maintenance & store team
· Update the machine breakdowns, new technical request through Computerized
web-based software
· Give instruction to labor to the stick the labels in Finished goods boxes
· Daily basis in the shift beginning doing the inventory for raw material,
packing materials.
· Note down the rejection weight & packing arrangements along with QC
technician.
· Co -ordinating with stores forklift driver to move FG boxes from production
to stores.
· Issuing the packing the material to production labors.
