Kuwait Danish Dairy (KDDc), a visionary and ambitious company, offers you a
unique opportunity to lead the Quality Department leadership team.
As Manager of, Quality Assurance & Quality Control, you will lead and manage a
team of professionals, ensuring the platform for compliance to respective
global, regional & internal regulations, Standards, Guidelines and Internal
Procedures.
You will report to the General Manager Manufacturing and be a key part of the
manufacturing department Management team, that besides the Quality department
also consists of the Production department, the technical department and the
Product Development department as well as the Health & Safety department.
You will be accountable for the oversight of compliance to, quality standards
(FSSC22000, FDA, GSO, Mac Donald, Burger King and others) and you will drive
the efficiency of quality processes and ensure readiness for any applicable
inspection/audit.
Your key responsibilities:
Lead and manage a high performing Quality team
Create and follow-up a departmental Business plan, including Customers,
Employees, Processes & Financials
Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with the
Quality Management System (QMS). Identify and escalate trends, and support the
development of risk mitigation activities, when required.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate QA/C
systems are implemented and/or maintained
Leading subject matter experts in the lifecycle management and continuous
improvement of Quality processes and procedures and conduct respective key
stakeholder management
Leading and supporting inspection readiness activities and having key roles at
authority inspections when applicable
Professional highlights:
In depth understanding and experience within the realm of quality management
in the food manufacturing industry is a fundamental as well as a proven track
record of success, must be demonstrated. Dairy industry experience would be an
added plus, but the otherwise perfect candidate would be considered, as
quality management is, in principle, the same if its dairy, chewing gum or
bread. Experience from working with quality management systems is also a must
(FSSC22000 or the like)

The perfect candidate demonstrates experience from working in a corporate
environment, but also understands that there is a difference between a
corporately structured company and a family-owned company. He/she Is able to
show/explain why high-level quality management is depending on an approach
that provides a structured and systematic methodology in the everyday work in
the Quality department as well as in the strategic development of same. We
would much prefer candidates with an added business education on top of their
professional education. He/she understands that the quality department is a
service provider and that their service is provided to a multiple range of
customers from procurement to the consumer and that they as such is a part of
a flow that in the end is there to govern the quality that ultimately ends up
with the consumer of our products, and at the same time, safeguarding the
total interests of the shareholders of the company.
Following that line of understanding, the ideal candidate must be comfortable
working in an open cross-functional organization where all have a specific
task/role to perform but knows and understands why he/she can’t perform well
without the rest of the team of KDD.
