About PwC ETIC - Egypt Technology and Innovation Centre

PwC is opening a new Technology & Innovation Center in Cairo that will
deliver high quality technology solutions to consulting Clients across the
globe. The Centre will provide a broad suite of skills and services to our
clients, ranging from Packaged Applications such as SAP & Oracle, to
cyber security, data analytics, custom development and cloud services
utilising AWS, Azure and Google, as well as expanding our existing
managed services capabilities.
The centre is looking to expand rapidly and we are looking for
enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for technology and client
delivery to help shape and form this new venture.
About our internship

Our cyber risk internship gives you the chance to gain a vast amount of
applicable knowledge on how leading organizations safeguard
themselves internally and externally from threats that can impact crucial
business operations.
You will be guided on how industry-leading compliance regulations
support businesses in protecting their vital assets, learn how security
assessments analyse critical vulnerabilities of IT and process systems
and help in implementing the needed controls that ensure a continuous
mitigation of risk.

leadership and will be an integral part of the team based in Cairo, as
well as those delivering client transformation programmes across the

Cyber Security Cyber Risk Intern, core responsibility overview:

* As a member of the cybersecurity team you will gain
valuable insights into the daily activities of a cybersecurity division,
learning from experts and applying your knowledge in real life
scenarios and immersive client experiences.

* You will support our team in finding the best ways to
make our clients IT systems, processes and applications secure by
consulting them on the appropriate governance and compliance
strategies.

- You will assist the team in finding ways on how to
grow our cybersecurity practice by exploring innovative ways to
improve and enhance our candidate selection.

- You will learn how to implement
fundamental IT protection, discover the processes required for risk
analysis and be introduced to industry-standard certifications such
as ISO ‎27001 and the NIST cybersecurity framework that govern
the most prominent companies of today.
Role requirements:

• You have a keen interest in cybersecurity and the eagerness to learn
  about risk management, technology practices, IT audit and
  governance.


• You value the relationship between IT systems and business
  processes and recognize the importance of crisis and business
  continuity management.


• You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), can
  work independently and proactively in a team environment and
  display strong analytical and reporting skills.
