Job Description
The Visa Digital Consulting Senior Manager will support the VCA Digital
Service line focused on launching a new service proposition linked to digital
acquisition. The main objective of the role is to help build out the digital
acquisition platform solution, help market it and sell it in the markets, and
help implement it with clients and support on local designs and integration
requirements.
The Digital Senior Manager, will support the delivery of digital offerings to
our clients in the sphere of Digital Acquisition including but not limited to
the following:
* Using Visa and external data understand client requirements from an acquisition point of view, and their current situation with regards to digital acquisition readiness
* Design a digital acquisition process and detailed journey for the clients and validate with the compliance teams of the banks and get clearance
* Coordinate the development of the digital acquisition journey with the selected vendor and support in all additional required connections
* Develop client pitches to present and sell the digital acquisition platform to new clients, in existing markets or in preparation to enter new markets
* Project manage the implementation of the digital acquisition platform with the clients in respective markets including any new integration requirements
* Support in commercial discussions with clients in order to finalize sales and agreements
* Coordinate with the different functions within Visa to support in new launches and integrations to get the platform up and running
* Support thought leadership and knowledge sharing regarding digital acquisition capabilities and platform
* Support the overall strategy and growth for the Digital Service Line
Qualifications
A well-qualified candidate will have broad and deep expertise in Digital with
primary focus - but not limited to - digital acquisition, digital experience,
system integration, data architecture. Key elements to assess his/her
candidacy will include expertise on the following topics:
* Business needs of issuers, acquirers and merchants in Digital, e.g., strategy, acquisition, customers and channels full potential, mobile platforms, digital ecosystems, etc.
* Best practices to meet customer needs across the customer lifecycle and in terms of digital channels engagement
* Industry trends, such as digitalization and development of digital channels, emerging of ecosystems, increasing use of advanced analytics, changing regulatory environment, adoption of open banking globally, etc.
* Fintech & Digital native players, including where they play across the value chain of banking (and payments specifically) and their relative strengths and weaknesses vs. competitors.
* Superior project management skills. Fluent communicator.
* Strong knowledge in technical solution development and implementation and technology project management.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
* At least 8+ years of solid experience in the following areas: customers acquisition on digital channels, digital transformation, digital channels development and optimization, digital marketing, digital strategy
* Strong facilitation skills
* Experience should be gained within a digital function of a top-tier bank, the financial services practice of a top-tier consulting firm, or with a top tier reg-tech provider. A combination of regional and global experience strongly desired.
* Deep consulting skills and client engagement capabilities. Advanced client contact and presentation skills. Credibility with clients and working teams and diplomatic skills to extract desired outcomes. Comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients and VISA.
* Highly analytical with advanced PowerPoint skills and Excel skills.
* Must have financial acumen and commercial awareness skills.
* Results driven, flexible and both internally and externally customer focused.
* Able to travel frequently and work on client site for extended periods across CEMEA.
* Self-motivated and able to use own initiative with limited direction.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with inter- disciplinary groups.
* Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
* Fluency in English mandatory
