Center), the partners to your counterpart across EMEA to fulfill our customers

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first ‎6-‎12
months you will work toward completing?

Our mission is to ensure a smooth & agile resourcing process, from the
emergence of a demand until the end of the project while helping maximize
profitability by leveraging our extensive resources pool (internal, offshore,
and subcontracting resources):
* Within ‎30 days of employment, you will be knowledgeable with VMW PS organization and stakeholders' network (ie project managers from the PMO team mainly, in-geo and offshored resources, partners) to set up a strong collaboration and understand customers' requirements to effectively resourcing.
* Within ‎90 days of employment, you will be able to autonomously manage competing demands and escalation from the so called Tier ‎1 or ‎2, and commercials customers to ensure VMware Software consumption by using the Worldwide Consulting Center (WWCC) team to improve our ability to deliver at scale and allow VMware people to work on the complex engagement with customers where they add the most value.
* Within ‎120 days along with the above, you will be able to provide RMO reports to provide insights and ultimately preserve our resources utilization and maintain our delivery mix matrix.
What type of work will I be doing? What assignments or requirements will I
be performing on a regular basis?

* Manage incoming resource requests for Volume Business (non-complex engagement) for the assigned region balancing multiple and conflicting requirements at any one time; and according to our resourcing guidelines which is aligned with PS strategy
* Give visibility on your demand queue to the resource manager to tackler any challenges
* Attend and/or conduct meetings with the Project Managers to gather projects requirements to initiate resource plan and to track changing resource needs based on modified start/end dates and changes to project plan
* Update and monitor schedule and balance these against available resources as well as identify/recommend consultants to be staffed on projects
* Work closely with Subcontracting partners to get and negotiate the quotation according to the projects budget, and process the Work Order in relation with the subcontracting department
* Work with the resource manager to maximize the utilization rate across the resources and support activities to optimize the utilization of the resource pool
* Handle the creation of the email for contingent worker to access to our application and monitor it closely according to extension or end of project, for security purpose
* Contribute to prepare the RMO reports on a weekly basis and share with the Delivery leadership insights about resourcing (ie demands trends, capacity issue, skills shortage …)
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the resourcing process by sharing your ideas and feedback from the fields
* Fluent English and German languages are mandatory for this role

What is the structure of the team/organization I will be working with?

The hiring manager for this role is Laura Verdon, Senior Manager, Resource
Management Organization for EMEA. Her expertise has been built from the
frontlines with roles in sales, resource management, and operations
management; and most recently in management consultancy in organization 's
transformation for the past ‎8 years.
Laura's management philosophy is about encouraging everyone on the team to be
independent thinkers to achieve our common goals according VMW EPIC2 culture.
Laura looks for people who can think out-of-the-box, is proactive, lead and
then execute initiatives that the team found appropriate to launch for
supporting our PS strategy.
You will be joining a team of ‎14 Resource Managers and Analysts located across
EMEA. Despite we are supporting different regions, our team always help each
other to share resources from a region to fulfill another region request, we
work as "ONE" team & we trust each other to get the job done right, which
allows for a flexible schedule to balance work and life .
Where is the role located?
This role is flexible remote, you will work from a VMware office based in
Egypt, Cairo and home office. VMWare has a policy to empower employees to work
