Required for a German Multinational company in Egypt , located at New Cairo
Reports to : General Manager / VP Group Accounting and Controlling (in
Germany)
JOB PURPOSE : Manage the accounting, tax and financial requirements in Egypt
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
* Monthly financial reporting in line with Group procedures
* Monthly Payroll calculation and disbursement
* Periodic VAT, Taxes and other regulatory reporting
* Periodic management reporting and forecasting (incl cash)
* Annual financial statements incl tax computation
* Complete and submit annual tax returns
* Other reporting needed from the entity to the Group Accounting Dept.
MAIN TASKS :
* General accounting (Egyptian GAAP and IFRS)
* Payroll
* Management Reporting
* Budgeting, forecasting and financial controlling
* Cash management and bank relations
* Tax compliance (VAT, employee taxes etc)
* Transfer pricing issues
* Corporate tax computation
The candidate will work in an international environment and will receive
training and coaching from the Group accounting dept.
* EDUCATION : MBA or equivalent degree
* WORK EXPERIENCE : Min of 5 yrs of relevant experience
* MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE : + 3 years
* Advanced excel skills and otherwise solid computer skills
* Proficiency in spoken and written English
* You communicate well and is a good team player
* Able to work independently and with a problem solving mind set.
* You possess energy and have a solution oriented attitude
* You are flexible, service minded and friendly
