Job Description



  • You will be expected to effectively work as part of a wider project team or independently act as technical lead on migration engagements.

  • You should be able to identify process gaps and work with the team to address them

  • In collaboration with other team members, you should be able to build a scalable and efficient model for NSX-V to NSX-T migrations and assessments

  • Take ownership and accountability for individual deliverables.

  • Proactively define project requirements/issues/constraints/risks and address them with PMs

  • You should be able to effectively collaborate within different product workstreams within the team and with Business units, identify current gaps and find a way to bridge them

  • You should be able to mentor other team members and provide them technical and consultative guidance as needed

  • Perform a pre-migration assessment of NSX-V to NSX-T

  • Review and validate your and other team members assessment reports

  • Drive customer facing and internal project calls along with project managers and provide technical guidance

  • Manage customer and internal escalations, collaborate with support and engineering teams as needed

  • Designing, planning and execution of NSX-V to NSX-T migration or NSX-T Deployment

  • Understanding of various 3rd party integrations with NSX-T and highlight any interoperability issues

  • Work with product engineering team and resolve issues faced during assessment and migration

  • Work with various BU's for successful migration of NSX-V to NSX-T

  • Work with various BU's for successful Deployment NSX-T

  • Work with various BU's for successful upgrade NSX-T
