We're looking for a Corporate Application Engineer to join our team in
Cairo, Egypt.
The applicant will be responsible for delivering Corporate Application
Engineer duties starting with identifying customer needs, then deliver product
presentations, demos and work on resolving complex technical problems. They
will also have a special focus on for the Calibre product line of Design to
Silicon products.
We are looking for a result oriented and accountable person that strives on
working in an international environment. It 's important that the applicant is
self-propelled and enjoy taking on new challenges and learning new tools and
methodologies as demands are constantly changing.
The position is located in Egypt but the applicant will be working Calibre
support teams in US and Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Calibre support team worldwide to provide tool usage demos, deployable solution packages and debugging methodologies.
* Collaborate with Filed/Account Teams in the tools deployment and work on customer compelling problems.
* Communicate with Siemens EDA product division to influence product development in a favorable direction for our customers.
* Participate in support activities and develop customer knowledge based content.
Qualifications:
* B.Sc. Degree of Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
* Ability to learn and grow into different product areas as required.
* Basic knowledge in IC Design flow, physical verification and post layout simulation.
* Prior knowledge of CAD tools usage and development.
* Previous knowledge in semiconductor process.
* Prior customer facing experience is plus!
* Experience in developing and/or delivering training is a huge plus!
* Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge with others.
* Willingness to travel.
