About the Job: -
* The purpose of the Network Engineer role is to deliver Network Transformation and Modernization via a set of services that analyze the customer's network, identify the network solutions (Ciena and/or third party), and plan the integration/conversion requirements to meet the customer's needs. The NE will support the Sales Account team, PLM, Engineering Acct Owner on proposal activities to identify revenue (hardware and services) opportunities.
* Responsible for creating complex step-by-step engineering methods of procedure to migrate, reconfigure and modernize the entire customer's networks. Drive these changes remotely during off-hours and weekends.
* Work closely with SPM to meet the customer in-service network expectations and engineering documentation
* Creates multi-disciplinary technical innovations and solutions for the most complex or risky business situations.

Engineer: -
* B.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of discipline
* 5-8 years experience with Live network migration and telecommunication consulting.
* Ability to accept continuous unusual work hours, high-stress maintenance windows.
* The ability to handle stressful situations during maintenance window activities and solve complex technical issues under the stress of time constraints requires the nerve of steel.
* Excellent in problem-solving down to the design level and then translating that back to Engineering for resolution
* Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
* Good Customer Service interaction skills
* Good Written and Verbal communications skills
