Job Description
* Building and maintaining web applications.
* Produce detailed specifications
* Write clean and well-designed code
* Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
* Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
* Follow industry best practices
* Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
* Write technical documentation
* Write Unit tests for the developed code
Job Requirements
* Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or an equivalent.
* 1-3 yrs of expertise in developing web applications using PHP frameworks (especially Laravel) (1+ year)
* Excellent understanding of OOP and design patterns.
* Expertise in databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache)
* Expertise in PHP tools and libraries such as Composer and PHP Unit.
* Expertise in RESTful API's
* Expertise in Javascript, JQuery, HTML and CSS.
* Familiarity with GIT.
* Familiarity with Test-driven development
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies
* Familiarity with cloud solutions such as Azure or AWS is a plus
* Familiarity with CI/CD is plus
* Familiarity with Docker is a plus
