Role purpose:



  • To Support in develop and maintain functional and secure networks, taking into consideration all available technologies and business requirements, troubleshoot Network & security environment problems, and provide technical support.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:



  • Analysing network security threats and developing security solutions to mitigate risk.

  • Installing and configuring firewalls, and other security technologies.

  • Developing security policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.

  • Maintaining an inventory of software patches for all networked systems and updating them regularly to address vulnerability issues

  • Managing security operations by monitoring security events and identifying potential security risks.

  • Understand audit process, compliant requirement, and coordinate in audit exercise.

  • Supporting all service needs in Markets through INC/PBI/CRQ

  • Engaged in Weekly Service review Meetings for each Market

  • Perform Sanity checks for any new deployments in Production Environment.

  • Strong Analytical thinking, Conversational English and Business Writing Skills.


Must have technical / professional qualifications:



  • Hands-on, technical experience with security solutions and technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and wide range of security technologies such as Firewalls, IPS, VPN, 2FA, WAF, PAM, IAM, Web Proxy and email Gateway, and end-point solutions preferred.

  • Ability to assess network activity and system configuration for anomalous activity to determine system security status

  • ‎0 to ‎3 years of experience

  • Has keen knowledge and understanding of current cyber threats.

  • Good working knowledge of: TCP/IP, common network traffic, network protocols, LAN, WAN, and Wireless technologies Security best practices, IT Security framework, IT security incident response and IT Security assessment.

  • ITIL Foundation and service management background


Core competencies, knowledge and experience:



  • Firewall technology knowledge with a clear understanding of Networking, VPN & security technologies

  • Ethernet, Wireless, and TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting

  • Expertise in penetration testing, networking, system administration, and operating systems

  • A strong understanding of the hardware infrastructure, DNS (domain name system), routers, firewall systems, and cloud computing applications are required.

  • FortiGate, F5 and ASA firewalls configurations and troubleshooting.
