Application Technologist - Egypt

Join our Food creation and Application team and be ready to explore a lot

You will support customer projects, and research process by preparing and
selecting flavors and maintaining data relevant to flavor portfolio, according
to EH&S; policies and our needs. You will be reporting to the Egypt Technical
Manager and located in our site in 6th of October City, Industrial Zone ‎3.

You will:
Prepare flavored food products for customer projects, presentations and
research projects
Select flavors for projects according to specified requirements (i.e.,
customer, regulatory, legislation, and technical costs)
Participate in evaluations of flavors in food applications for briefs,
research projects and portfolio evaluations
Help taste sessions and presentations to customers/visitors
Manage flavor data and recipe documentation for food products
Maintain the flavor performance data for the flavor portfolio through
evaluation in finished product and capture of profiles
Maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment following EH&S; policies

You?

Hold bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Food processing.
‎0-‎2 years of experience in a R&D; field (Snacks or Savoury are preferred)
Speak English fluently and the local language is a must
Understanding of research documentation protocol.
Understanding of basic food ingredients when used in application.
Understanding of selected specific Givaudan food applications processes
Knowledge of our selected food products and their production processes
Basic understanding of the financial aspects of flavor selection (cost-in-use,
margins)
Tasting skills and ability to describe the flavor profile of the product.
