Requirements and responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Coordinate the conceptualization and execution of all areas within the thumbnail process
* Generate unique and creative ideas for thumbnails that will drive the YouTube audience to click on our videos
* Utilize photoshop and photo manipulation mastery in order to create realistic composites
* Coordinate with the team on how to capture the best assets possible. This includes everything from framing, facial expressions, content of the photos, custom sets being coordinated/built by set design team, and anything else regarding the creation of thumbnail assets
* Provide high quality pieces, often on short notice
* Stay up to date with current trends/best practices within the thumbnail space
* Utilize analytics and other data points to ensure optimal performance and interest for all thumbnails
* Coordinate with external designers to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met
* Create art including: avatars and characters, high quality custom text work, icons, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of 3 years Photoshop and Graphic Design experience
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment creatively and effectively.
* Rockstar interpersonal skills to ensure the ability to collaborate with varied levels of management, peers, and talent across varying teams.
* Knowledge and ability to operate basic camera equipment, lighting, and technology.
* Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment across multiple platforms.
* Proficient and comfortable with all social media platforms and office equipment (Computer skills - G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Outlook, Excel, Slack, etc.)
* Be readily available to complete last-minute requests.
