The Role Responsibilities

Job Summary
To support the country CIO of Egypt in managing the day to day technology
operations, managing vendors, supporting local applications, coordinating with
multiple group / regional teams for delivering the country and stakeholder
requirements.
Responsibilities
Strategy
* Strategy will be provided by the Regional HO
Business
* Maintain and support local applications in Egypt
* Provide end user support for staff in Egypt on their laptops and iPhones
Processes
* Coordinate with group teams and regional teams to deliver services
* Vendor management and service review meetings
* Manage vulnerability patching and related processes
* Participate in project working groups and assist with local implementations
* Manage group processes related to infrastructure inventory.
People & Talent
* Self-identify training needs and recommend to the CIO
* Prepare and follow a self-development plan
* Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Embed the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct
Risk Management
* Identify and address obsolescence on the platforms running the applications
* Engage with HICS team to provide updates on risks identified in the country ICS forums
* Identify and manage risks related to local infrastructure
Governance
* Work with ICS teams to ensure compliance on infrastructure and applications
* Identify any capacity bottlenecks and recommend upgrades to CIO
Regulatory & Business Conduct
* Ensure engagement with regulators is as per the protocol applicable in Egypt
* Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
* Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
* Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

* Egypt Business, Operations and other group function teams.

* Work with the Infrastructure support teams (OTS) and extend a helping hand whenever needed.
