design execution, document presentation formatting globally. We also provide
concentrated services through our in-house secure print rooms and regulator-

The Opportunity:
The primary role of a Web Content Manager is overall management and
accountability for designated websites. The Web Content Manager will be the
first point of contact for stakeholders and their web publishing requirements,
ensuring the quality and delivery of work in a timely manner. Web Content
Manager will be responsible for managing content, checking facts and ensuring
overall governance and integrity of content of the site.
What you 'll do:
* Ensure team adherence to department guidelines, compliance regulations, policies and procedures regarding content and design through constant communication and regular implementation monitoring initiatives including training and coaching team leads tasked with implementing them
* Analyze web metrics reports using HSBC systems and industry standards in coordination with Digital Insights managers.
* Generate/Analyze web assets reports for management client reporting
* Keep abreast with web metrics and web development industry standards and best practices by research and attending regular training programmes and seminars
* Work closely with digital insights managers to deliver digital marketing solutions
* Ensure websites are tagged correctly, conducting reviews on this to assure quality
* Should take responsibilities in reviewing website content prior to publishing.
* Build the team's ability to provide better service by regularly reporting project concerns and suggesting ways to resolve them, participating in project reviews, preparing production briefs, etc
* Maintain a holistic as well as detailed view of the design for the entire site. Maintain documentation (Example : Training materials, process flow documentations etc)
* Participate in development of effective information management standards and policies for web content management.
* Advise and support internal teams and external agency to implement good practice in line with agreed standards and policies, and use available tools
* Ensure delivery of projects according to specification, cost and timeline by regularly monitoring project requirements, planning and directing production in close collaboration with production managers, assigning work to staff and coaching them as needed.
Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role:
* Ensure high quality of work by consistently taking responsibility for one's own work and also of the team, reviewing it against quality standards, and consistently seeking to achieve zero quality errors
* Ensure production standards are met by streamlining and applying best practice and recommending continuous improvements
* Adherence with HSBC defined user interface guidelines and policies
* Develop professional and harmonious relationships with GPS customers through constant, personal communication aimed at obtaining a clear understanding of the business objectives and situational context of their project requirements
* Provide support to production manager to monitor and improve production metrics.
* Review metrics and provide recommendation in further improvement of process in the best interests of the GPS production team and the business
* Reduce client concerns and issues by consciously anticipating their needs, immediately acknowledging and addressing whatever concerns and issues are raised, and by escalating whatever is necessary to the proper authority in a clear and objective manner for speedy and fair resolution
* As and when required, mentor production teams ensuring the quality of their work and acquisition of the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective Content Managers
* Ensure a steady improvement in one's skills and capabilities by supporting, planning and attending collaborative work and in-house and external cross-training opportunities, and assisting direct line manager in developing training plans as and when required.
* Working closely with GPS management and production teams to identify skill gaps of the team and provide recommendations against skill matrix.
* Maintain proficiency in current versions of software used in HSBC required for performing duties
* Ensure compliance with all Group, GSC, company and department policies and procedures by constantly updating knowledge and understanding of such, raising questions and concerns with team leads or managers as necessary, and taking personal responsibility for abiding as required
* Ensure all activities are in accordance with Compliance standards
* Assist in the implementation of the Group Compliance Policy locally by containing compliance risk in liaison with the Global Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer ensuring adequate compliance resources and training, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators; Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators; Awareness of operational risk associated with the role, in compliance with SOX (Sarbanes- Oxley Requirements) for Group Service Centres (GSCs)
What additional skills will be good to have?
* Web development and online content management experience essential
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledge of the fundamentals of standards-based HTML and XHTML
* Experience with CSS and JavaScript is desirable
* Experience with scanning, illustration, slide creation and image manipulation to support website management and production
