JOB PURPOSE
Supervise and manage Bonded Area on day-to-day operations, ensuring
international shipments are recovered, timely connections to the right flight
or shuttle, bond management, and make sure process compliance with GSOP.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Customer:
* Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. By increase the productivity and efficiency of the warehouse operations to deliver and exceed customer expectations.
Internal:
* Communicating effectively with other supervisors, employees, and managers to achieve the company's short- and long-term goals.
Third Party Agents:
* Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Process:
* Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
* Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Occupational Health & Safety:
* Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
People Management:
* Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
* 3+ years in logistics, warehousing or related industry
* Bachelor's degree in logistics or business administration
