Main responsibilities:
* You will directly manage scientific affairs teams for the CHC Egypt, assuring the integration and transversal work in-between all the functions that are part of the Scientific Affairs Team (Medical, Quality, Regulatory) and Pharmacovigilance (in dotted line).
* You will be responsible for leading the local CHC team across Science Functions ensuring:
* Regulatory compliance and regulatory maintenance of the existing CHC portfolio, effective and timely approval of all marketing authorizations, appropriate input on the development of new products, and shaping of the regulatory environment. Ensuring claims development, execution, excellence in accordance with the processes.
* Implementation of a CHC medical governance, and maintenance of our company/industry standards. Promote scientific innovation opportunities across our portfolio through proactive cross-functional working of team members contributing to global strategic medical brand plans or developing local product strategic medical brand plans that align with brand direction.
* Maintenance of all licenses to operate (e.g., Wholesale Distribution license) and a Quality Management system in compliance with local regulations and global Quality requirements
* Compliance with the dispositions described in the Licenses to operate granted by the local Health Authorities to the CHC Egypt
* Ensuring continuity in pharmaceutical responsibility (RP/QP) as per the scope of the Licenses to Operate held by CHC Egypt, for the benefit of patients, consumers and HCP on the marketplace
And you will:
* Be a full member of the CHC Egypt Leadership team representing all Science functions incl. Quality.
* Work in close partnership with the local Business/Commercial Operations Heads to develop, protect & drive the local business forward (strategic role).
* Lead the CHC Egypt Medical/Regulatory/PV/Quality Committee.
About you
* Experience : _10+ years as a manager
* Soft skills : Strategic Thinking, Business Acumen, Team Leadership, Communication skills, Sense of urgency, Follow up skills, High organization & planning skills, Attention to Details, Hard Worker, Team Worker, High level of management skills _
* Technical skills : _Computer skills, Good Command of English Language, Time management skills, Presentation skills, good understanding of the consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, drug development environment,
* Education : Degree in Pharmacy or Science Degree or relevant Academic qualification is desirable
* Languages : Fluent spoken and written English, An Additional language is desirable
