CAD Technician
Permanent contract
As support to Egis projects within Egypt, the CAD Technician shall be
responsible for providing the required support to the technical team in terms
of the preparation, revision and managing of the technical drawings, details,
models, and projects footprints and alignments.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Ability to translate engineering mark-ups into final engineering drawings
* Ability to visually communicate concepts, draw well and be very detailed
* Ability to complete submittals in a timely manner
* Ability to transfer sketches, notes, and other materials to complete CAD drawings
* Ensure all drawings meet project standard
* Assisting the rail team with a comprehensive design and advisory service focused on meeting the engineering challenges involved in servicing the infrastructure requirements of renewal, enhancement and turnkey projects.
The candidate should have:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and/or Professional training in AutoCAD
* 5 years of professional experience using AutoCAD in an engineering environment
* Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create drawings and plans
* Well organised and energetic
* Experience in preparation of CAD drawings for railway and/or metro related project
* Excellent communication skills and fluent in English and Arabic
* Determined to act in a responsible way in business activities as well as in social and environmental impact.
