looking for a colleague who has a passion for tax and wants to develop within
the area in a diverse, dynamic, and multidisciplinary environment. In the role
as Tax Analyst, you will work closely with other business areas and have a key
role in tax related strategic matters and help drive business value.
This role is designed to be responsible for the local tax & business model
compliance. Adding to the preparation of direct & indirect tax audits / refund
requirements. Also to review the direct and indirect taxes BSR in order to
ensure that the company is compliant from both of tax regulation & accounting
standards povs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be responsible for the monthly/quarterly/annual tax compliance & filing
process (for both of direct & indirect taxes) and resolve issues identified
during the filling preparation process to ensure accuracy & timely fillings.
Also to review the direct & indirect tax BSR on timely basis.
2. Prepare the requirements needed to close the open Tax audits / refunds
(including the requirements needed for Legal Entities Reduction Program
"LERP").
3. Assess the local tax implications of the operating processes to ensure
compliance with the local tax regulations and Business Model.
4. Lead the redemption process of direct & indirect tax receivables.
5. Provide the organization with the needed tax support/guidance.
Qualifications
* * 2 - 3 years of Tax experience
* ## Experience in large public accounting firms or Multinational Corporations (strongly preferred)
* * Bachelor 's degree in Accounting
* * Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
* * SAP system experience is preferred
* * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* * Knowledge of Accounting and bookkeeping procedures
* * Knowledge of Egyptian tax laws
* * Must be able to work within a cross cultural setting, negotiate diplomatically,
* ## and function well under pressure
* * Ability to work independently, as well as within a team in difficult work environment
* * Externally focused
