Purchasing Agent
Main Duties/Description:
* The ability to ensure that the department works closely with all hotel department to purchase the highest quality products while constantly searching for the lowest price.
* The ability to ensure that all purchase requests are properly completed and approved before a purchase order is prepared and the items are purchased.
* The ability to ensure all items received by the hotel are properly documented in accordance with Four Seasons purchasing and receiving procedures.
* The ability to maintain files and conducting market survey whenever needed.
* The ability to use Birchstreet and various programs in personal computers.
* The ability to assist in the preparation of reports as required by the Director of Purchasing.
* The ability to analyze technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements.
* The ability to conduct frequent visit to the market suppliers for evaluation purpose as well as checking on new potential suppliers.
* The ability to perform any additional duties as assigned.
