Junior Product Manager

We're looking for a Junior Product Manager!

This role will be responsible for the product planning and execution
throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product
and customer requirements, defining the product strategy, and working closely
with designers, engineers, data scientists (Cairo, Egypt), and Oil and Gas
professional users (Denver, USA) to ensure customer satisfaction goals are
met.

The role will report to the Staff Product manager, who reports to Company CEO.
It is based in Cairo, Egypt. This role will be communicating with almost
everyone in the company across different levels to ensure alignment between
product strategy and overall company strategy and goals.

Job Duties

• Perform internal and external research to determine customer needs, define use cases, and help position our products within the market.


• Work closely with designers to define together the optimum user experience for new features and revamp older ones.


• Help define product vision, strategy, and roadmap and get others on board as well.


• Communicate through product meetings, interviews, and presentations with users and engineers on goals and expectations.


• Write user stories and extensive spec documents for the development and data science teams.


• Communicate frequently with other teams to provide direction and guidance and ensure product development is on the right track.


• Work with engineers to identify performance bugs, test new features, and ensure excellent product functionality, design, and user experience.


• Attend daily meetings to stay informed and resolve any blockers the team might have.


• Attend Sprint planning and thoroughly explain previously prepared user stories to the team and answer any related questions.


• Collect and analyze data to make daily educated product decisions.


• Send release emails to the company to keep users updated with new releases.


• Report status updates to users and apply feedback strategies.
  
  Overview
  We're looking for someone with ‎0-‎4 years of experience (fresh graduates
  and people with non-linear career paths are welcome to apply).

You need to be comfortable working with large datasets. Being able to run
queries and do advanced data manipulations on excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PIVOT
TABLES, etc.) will be essential for writing specs and testing many of our
features.

Nice to Have
* Previous experience in Product Management for software products ( & PM tools).
* Previous experience in visualizing and analyzing data using BI tools like Spotfire, Tableau, etc.
* Basic knowledge of Economics and Finance
* Basic knowledge of Oil and Gas business
