design of public transport systems through to commissioning, and covering all
aspects of testing and handover to clients.
Egis Egypt is looking for an O&M Expert. Reporting to the Deputy Project
Manager you will lead the O&M activities within the PMC for high-speed rail
projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop the Operation and Maintenance service requirements
To ensure O&M requirements are properly integrated by the contractors.
Allocate constraints into the sub-systems (signalling, depot equipment, track,
etc)
Prepare the PTO (permit to operate) process with the train operator.
Establishing Concept of Operation with multi-service (high-speed and commuter)
Prepare an Operation strategy in order to meet the service requirements and
the and Maintenance strategy to support such service requirements
To be considered for this position as Operations & Maintenance Expert we have
the following requirements:
* An Engineering degree or equivalent
* Significant working experience in train operations for a rail network
* At least 15 years' experience in the rail sector.
* Operations & Maintenance experience on heavy rail and ideally High Speed rail projects from planning to operation phase.
* Thanks to your excellent interpersonal skills, you will be able to create a long-term relationship of trust with partners, clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
* Fluency in English.
