The St Denis site is part of the Group's Aftermarket activity, Valeo
Service. It supplies spare parts to automakers and the independent
aftermarket. It offers all aftermarket networks worldwide a wide range of

and to bring more safety, comfort and driving pleasure to consumers.
We are looking for Junior/Standard Full-Stack Development Engineer
The SW Engineer is part of the Valeo Service Smart Service Center and will be
responsible for full stack development of web applications, support of
websites, and APIs. The candidate will collaborate with other developers
working in an Agile environment to implement Valeo Services Digital Strategy.
You are expected to take charge of assigned technical tasks, working with the
rest of the technical team and junior developers to deliver. You will
contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including
clarifying requirements, development, documentation, testing, and operations.

You should have a solid knowledge of server side languages (Php, Node.js,
JavaScript) and will ensure developments are secured and adheres to industry
standards.

Your challenges?

* Creating, maintaining and improving websites, Drupal applications and APIs that are easy to administer, and cost-effective
* Maintain application versions to the latest releases. Run security and improvement updates on our Drupal sites
* Working with business stakeholders to move new applications and features from concept to implementation.
* Proactively work with the team to develop not just standalone solutions, but high quality reusable components and standards
* Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
* Work with the rest of the development team and the technical manager to improve our processes and implement new tools
* Manage your time across multiple projects and assignments
About you?
You have a bachelor or Masters degree in computer science, computer
engineering, or related technical field
You should have from ‎0-‎2 years of experience in the field of web development,
with most of these qualities:
* Working knowledge in building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
* Experience working with PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery
* Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
* Working knowledge in developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations in a LEMP environment
* Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
* Working knowledge with custom Drupal modules
* Working knowledge and familiarity with Drupal modules
* Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
* Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers
* Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
* Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs
* Sense of business with a strong sensibility to time to market
* Eager to research and learn in a self-directed way (always improving)
It would be great if you had a few of these qualities, too:
* Knowledgeable on modern concepts of software development and architectures (SoC, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, SOA, Mobile-first, Digital)
* Knowledge of Cyber Security policies and procedures including static code analysis, dependency analysis and penetration testing
* Familiar with DevOps concepts
* Demonstrated experience using Docker and CI/CD tools
