Project Director

• Understand the broader context of the customer and organization, the many changes being undertaken beyond the program and the direct operational area, and align the project approach, impact and timing with the broader environment.


• Oversee the customer program and its related projects


• Support in program plans and goals from start to finish, including identifying processes, deadlines and milestones.


• Maintain a strong vision for the direction of the customer program


• Provides advisory services to the project management team in relation to the project approach and integration with broader activities.


• Provide leadership, direction, guidance and coaching to the Project Managers and the broader project team in relation to project approach, activities, risks, issues and general management.


• Manage upwards strategically to facilitate effective executive and Project Board governance.


• Provide leadership to strategically manage risk and ensure each phase of work is started or completed on time.


• Influence the team to accomplish the project's objectives in a manner that meets or exceeds expectations.

about you

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science and demonstrated technology implementation experience in the IT industry.


• Proven Experience providing high level leadership at the Program / Project Director level.


• Experience in deploying pure Infrastructure projects as well as cloud solutions in datacenters.


• Animation and management of a multicultural team both virtually & onsite.


• Experience in creating/maintaining/growing customer relations while always seeking customer satisfaction


• Possess rapport and interpersonal skills that allows adapting to different interlocutors


• Ability to prioritize and work autonomously


• Advanced negotiation and presentation skills required.


• Minimum of ‎10-‎15 years' experience in the implementation and deployment of large and/or complex Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions


• Excellent verbal and written English Language and Communications skills

• Excellent knowledge of the Service Management / Service Delivery processes and organizations within Orange Business Services or within other industry-related companies
