Goal of Function:
* Actively contribute to building regional business strategies and initiatives
* Advocate business needs in the financial world i.e., specify business levers for financial performance and solutions to support business development
* Propose Budget and Forecast Targets
* Drive Capital Efficiency
* Support in the design and implementation of financial steering themes in the business
* Specify business demands from CoE and GBS
* Issue resolution as part of the credit management process
Main tasks:
* Strategic planning and decision support for the region (incl. capital allocation, business development and M &A)
* Business result commenting
* Interpret ad-hoc business analyses and recommend actions
* Business analysis for decision support
* Scenario Planning & risk management
* Credit management (oversight and initiative planning)
* Working capital controlling
* Assist with various projects as assigned
* CoE Work closely with CoEs and GBS as needed
* Working with Local BPs, Finance Directors, LIMs on effectiveness of ICS
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & E xperience:
1) Required training and education:
* Master degree economics / Business administration
2) Required professional experience (in years):
* Min. 6 years experience in Finance / Controlling in an international environment
3) Important personal qualities:
* A proven ability to collaborate across mutli-disciplinary teams to achieve common aims
* Ability to think strategically
* Ability to work in a Matrix environment
* Experience of working with people from a range of cultural backgrounds
* Excellent communication skills; spoken and written English
* Second foreign language will be an advantage
