JOB SUMMARY:
* Responsible for the safe keeping of all stock located within the Maintenance Store. Controls and monitors the movement of all inventory items and ensures that inventory items are available when required
* The Storekeeper is responsible for all Spare Parts Inventory operations activities including receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting Inventory transactions, maintaining records, maintains inventory and stock records specially CC accuracy
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receive, stock and issue materials, supplies, tools, parts and equipment utilizing a computer purchasing and inventory control system.
* Verify articles against purchase orders or packing lists and count and inspect materials for damage or defects.
* Review potential vendor information required to register as approved vendor.
* Identify vendors and obtain quotes of prices for goods to be purchased; research new parts, substitute products and pricing.
* Select proper storage areas and store articles in bins, racks, shelves, and floor
* Issue materials, supplies, tools, parts and equipment, obtaining proper records and requisitions.
* Responsible for in conjunction with the Financial Controller undertakes physical inventories Cycle count
* Keeps the warehouse presentable, Maintain storage areas, shelves, and outside yard in a clean and orderly condition
* Maintains inventory level, uses inventory management module via SAP to Prepares purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock.
* Maintains files appropriate to the activities of the unit, such as invoices, order number, receiving date, shipping documents, etc.
* Enter and retrieve data from a computerized inventory control system.
* Track material usage and establish reorder points.
* Assist in reconciling work order quantities with inventory records.
* Load and unload articles, using a forklift, hand truck, and other materials handling equipment.
* Assign part numbers to materials through the computer system and perform clerical duties related to the storekeeping functions.
* Responsible for orders tracking from PR Creation till GR & Confirmation of part Receiving.
* Responsible for maintaining spare parts data such as min & max quantities
* Responsible to provide proper inventory controls through established methods such as periodical cycle counting and annual physical inventories.

* Ensure all hazards and incidents are reported and investigated appropriately and suitable controls are implemented.

RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS :
* Type of prev. work experience required: Supply chain preferably in food manufacturing, Engineering, Finance or Business Administration.
* Years of previous work experience required: >1 years
Functional Competencies Required:
* Previous experience in supply chain roles within CPS or equivalent organization
* Business acumen, understanding of the KO System and finance (P &L)
* Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working within cross-functional teams
* Excellent analytical skills
* Excellent English spoken and written skills
* SAP experience
* MS excel and powerpoint experience (Advanced level)
* Excellent organization, time management and follow-up skills
