* Carry out 3D and 2D seismic interpretation, including stratigraphic and trace attribute interpretation and mapping, including depth conversion to generate prospects and leads.
* Apply quantitative interpretation (QI) techniques such as seismic reservoir characterization and AVO analysis to optimize exploration, appraisal, and development of hydrocarbon pools.
* Identify leads and mature suitable prospects to a ready-to-drill category. Provide technical input into well proposal and post-drill analysis. Liaise with drilling and reservoir engineers to optimally plan well trajectories/well design for exploration and appraisal drilling.
* Integrate existing and new well and seismic interpretations into regional and prospect assessments and databases. Provide technical support to G&G Team in developing regional play, prospect risking and ranking.
* Provide input to reservoir delineation, resource assessment, geological modeling, and field development planning.
* Plan and support seismic data acquisition and processing.
* Liaise with partners, regulatory bodies, and contractors.
* Prepare, evaluate, and contribute to dataroom as needed.
* Participate in the presentation of reports to management as part of validation process.
* QC and ensure all reports are produced to the highest standard regarding technical accuracy and presentation.
* Education, experience & qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Geophysics/Geology from a recognized institution, Masters preferred.
* ‎10-‎15 years of applicable experience with expertise in exploration
* Proven commitment to safety, community, and environment.
* Possess a high level of organization with attention to details and adaptation to changing priorities.
* Self-motivated and discovery driven.
* Continued professional development and technical training.
* Geological/geochemical/geophysical interpretive and integration skills
* Firm understanding and recognition of mineralization models and geological processes.
* Ability to work within a robust team.

* Ability to understand integrated production systems and integrate system constraints into subsurface work.
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a complex and challenging environment, with stakeholders carrying conflicting interests.
* Petrel software user
* Good knowledge of English language
