Job description
We are looking for a Junior Android Developer who is passionate about mobile
technologies and has a strong desire to learn and grow. You will work with our
talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile
applications, while working in a fast-paced environment. You should be
passionate about technology and have a strong desire to stay up-to-date with
the latest industry trends and advancements. Responsibilities: • Design
and build advanced applications for the Android platform • Responsible for
creating and maintaining Android applications, including developing new
features, debugging existing code, and ensuring the applications are optimized
for the best user experience. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
define, design, and ship new features • Work with outside data sources and
APIs • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and
general reliability • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new
technologies to maximize development efficiency
Skills
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject • 1 year of
experience in Android Software Development • Excellent communication and
presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. •
Excellent skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). • Excellent in problem
solving with strong analytical skills. • Excellent understanding of Data
Structures. • Good knowledge about Java/Kotlin and Android SDK. • Proficient
in Android Studio and creating UI screens using XML. • Experience with Android
Jetpack libraries. • Experience in working with RESTful APIs to fetch data. •
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). • Knowledge of
software development principles and design patterns. • Knowledge of
Architecture patterns like MVC, MVVM and MVI. • Knowledge of clean coding and
best practices. • Familiarity with Git and version control. • Familiarity with
Agile methodologies.
